Volunteer with CVC
Hotline Counselor/Victim Advocate: Respond to the needs of crime victims requesting support. Help staff our 24 hour hotline and accompany victims at local emergency rooms and police stations. Volunteers may take hotline calls from their homes. In order to become a Hotline Counselor/Victim Advocate you must by at least 18 years old, have a car, complete the 40 hour sexual assault counselor training, and submit criminal background checks and child abuse clearances.
We are not currently accepting volunteer submissions as we do not have a training planned. Once we have more availability for a training, we will update this page with more information.Â
Student Internships: Graduate internships are available for a variety of majors including psychology, social work, counseling, and criminal justice. Completion of the 40 hour sexual assault counselor training and submission of criminal background and child abuse clearances are required.
